Odyssey Home Inspection (“Odyssey Home Inspection,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://odysseyhomeinspection.com/ (the “Site”) and provides residential, commercial, multi-family, mobile home, new construction, roof, termite, foundation/structural, and realtor concierge inspection services throughout the Greater Sacramento area and Northern California.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using our Site, submitting a form, or communicating with us by phone, email, or text message, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information you provide to us. When you request a quote, schedule an inspection, or contact us through the Site, we may collect:

Information collected automatically. 3. SMS / Text Messaging Program
Odyssey Home Inspection offers SMS text messaging to customers who opt in. This section describes that program.
How you opt in. You opt in to receive SMS messages by submitting a form on our Site (such as the “Get a Fast Inspection Quote” form or the Schedule Inspection form) and checking the required, unchecked SMS consent checkbox labeled: “I consent to receive SMS messages from Odyssey Home Inspection. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.” Checking the box and submitting the form constitutes your express written consent to receive text messages from Odyssey Home Inspection at the phone number provided.
What messages you will receive. Messages may include inspection appointment confirmations and scheduling, report-ready notifications, follow-up communications, realtor and concierge coordination, and occasional service reminders.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies; typically 1 to 4 messages per month.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by your mobile carrier according to your mobile plan.
How to opt out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send you a final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, opt in again through our website forms.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
No sharing of mobile information. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messaging service (such as our SMS platform provider).
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, scheduling and customer relationship management platforms, and SMS/email delivery providers. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
- Inspection subcontractors and transaction parties. With your knowledge, we may share relevant details (such as the property address and appointment time) with licensed specialists performing part of your inspection (for example, termite inspection) or with real estate professionals you have asked us to coordinate with.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Odyssey Home Inspection, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business, in which case your information may be transferred as a business asset.
As stated above, your mobile phone number and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Cookies and Analytics
The Site may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.
