I cant recommend this company enough. Tyler came out for the inspection and found many things missed from other numerous inspection companies. This included poor stucco work, water heater information, moisture control issues, plumbing, roof issues, and the list goes on. He was extremely patient, answered all my questions, and even showed me diagrams for things I didn’t understand. He stayed over an hour passed his projected time for the inspection (likely because I had so many follow up questions with his recommendations).  He also saved me thousands in costs I thought I would incur from misinformation other companies were providing in quotes trying to make a quick buck.

Tyler at Odyssey Home Inspection Inc. is excellent. I hired Odyssey to inspect a mobile home while I was under contract, he coordinated the home inspection and the pest inspection to take place within just a few days because I was in a 10 day escrow period. So many findings were uncovered in the inspection from plumbing issues to active leaks to termites and dry rot. He gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision about proceeding. I had a great experience with my home inspector. He arrived right on time at 8:00 AM and completed a very thorough inspection by 11:15 AM. He was extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything he found, and answered all of my questions.

Even after living in the house for a year, he found several cosmetic issues that I had completely overlooked, along with a problem with my garage door that I wasn't aware of. His attention to detail and willingness to explain the findings gave me a lot of confidence.

People buy new homes because they think there should be no problems....That is WRONG. They build these houses so quickly nowadays and it is not a surprise they end up cutting corners. My wife and I bought a new home almost 1 year ago. They supposedly had there own inspector already come through and cleared it; however, we immediately noticed some problems. The heating unit was not properly attached, there was missing parts of the door where it did not seal properly, and there was a already a faulty/leaky toilet. Now, moving toward the end of the 12 month warranty of our first home, we wanted to make sure our home was inspected thoroughly. We did not want to miss anything. This is where Odyssey Home Inspection came in. Al did a thorough job of inspecting the exterior, and interior of the house. Al took pictures and gave explanations, which was all organized into a pdf that can be printed/downloaded. This was all very helpful as now we understand our house more, we have proper documentation of things that are wrong about the house, and we have peace of mind that no stone was left unturned.
